The conference is located in a University Hall of Residence, where accommodation will also be available.

Stephenson Hall is in a residential area called Broomhill which is about 15 minutes walk from the main University campus and 30 minutes from the city centre.

Sheffield is England’s fourth largest city with a population in excess of 500,000. It is also one of the greenest cities in Europe with a large proportion of woodland and parks.

Part of the Peak District National Park - one of Britain’s areas of outstanding natural beauty - is located within the city boundaries.

Broomhill was once described by the famous architectural critic and poet, John Betjeman, as ‘the prettiest suburb in England’.

The accommodation in Stephenson Hall is available in two grades - Premium with full en-suite facilities and standard. For those wishing to stay in local hotels the registration fee will include lunches and refreshments but not dinners (apart from the Banquet) or breakfasts. For those staying on site all meals will be included in the registration fee.

Travelling to Sheffield.:

The nearest international airport is Manchester and there is a direct train from Manchester Airport to Sheffield taking about 1 and a half hours.

London is about 2 and a half hours away by train from St. Pancras Station.
